To import certain electrical devices to Russia and other Customs Union countries (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia), an EAC Certificate or Declaration of conformity with Technical Regulations TR CU 004/2011 “On safety of low-voltage devices” and TR CU 020/2011 “Electromagnetic interference of technical means” is required.

• Products requiring mandatory certification are listed within the applicable technical regulations (i.e. CU TR 004/2011 (LVE), CU TR 020/2011 (EMC), CU TR 010/2011 (Machinery Safety), etc).
• Products that fall within the scope of applicable technical regulations but are not included in the mandatory certification list need to apply for Declaration of Conformity (CU DoC).
